My name is Genesis and I’m a 25 year old Mexican beadwork artist.

I’ve always felt connected to my culture through beadwork. When I was younger and would travel in Mexico with my family, I’d always come home with a new pair of beaded earrings weaved by local indigenous artisans. My collection of earrings became very precious to me, a symbol of knowing my country and culture. 

I started making beadwork at a time when I was apart from my home and family due to the COVID-19 pandemic and had none of my earrings available to me. During this time, I felt disconnected from my home, family, and culture. I decided to make something of my own and learn to bead the earrings that were so dear to me. Beading has been a wonderful healing journey for me in which I truly found my passion and creative outlet. 

All of “The Dainty Fairy” pieces are handmade slowly with lots of care and love. I’m eternally grateful for those who appreciate my work and choose to support me. I can only hope to make your jewelry dreams come true.
